The Certified Data-Driven Fundraiser program, created in partnership with Fundraising KIT, is a 9 module course taught by industry-leading, nonprofit professionals. As an attendee, you will be introduced to every component of data-driven fundraising. You will acquire a unique set of skills to better understand your donors, make more targeted appeals, and track their fundraising success. This course is also eligible for up to 18 CFRE credits!

CFRE Certified
CDDF is an approved CFRE Continuing Education Program provider. With each module containing 2-3 hours of instruction, CFRE fundraisers can earn up to 18 credits towards their mandatory continuing education.
The Courses
1. Foundations of Data Literacy
The program’s first course will review how to interpret and manage the data types most relevant to fundraising professionals, perfect for fundraisers looking to brush up on the basics.
2. Foundations of Non-Profit Data Management
The Foundation of Data Management course will cover the mindset necessary to manage fundraising data effectively, as well as the tools and technology you’ll need for success.
3. Prospect Research and Development
In the program’s third course, attendees will learn how to turn a prospect into a loyal donor. This course will provide fundraisers with the methods for identifying higher quality major donor prospects and developing a more efficient prospect research strategy.
4. Major Gifts & Individual Donor Insights
Learn the best practices for soliciting major gifts and the dos and don’ts of managing a major gift program. Additionally, course attendees will walk away understanding the indicators to look for when planning their major gift appeals.
5. Donor Segmentation
Personalize your donor communications and raise more for your cause! This course will explore the techniques, tools, and best practices for efficiently segmenting your donor base and sending targeted appeals.
6. Increasing Donor Engagement with Surveys
Learn all things surveys. This course will teach you what questions to include, how to analyze results, and how to use your findings to strengthen your organization.
7. Fundraising Measurement & Evaluation
Become an expert in fundraising goal setting and measurement. You will learn the importance of KPIs, analyzing results, and pivoting your fundraising strategy based on your findings.
8. Reporting and Data Visualization
Study the importance of data visualization, reporting, and communicating fundraising success. This course will cover everything you need to know about relaying the impact of your work to diverse audiences.
9. Digital Marketing Analytics
The program’s final course provides a deep dive into email metrics, donation forms, social media, and website engagement. This course will teach fundraisers how to develop a comprehensive marketing measurement plan and maximize the value of their digital resources.
